Dear Potential Supporter,

My name is Devin Miller and I am running for St. Paul School Board because there needs to be a voice for students, parents and the community. I am seeking your support and your votes come November to be that voice.

Our Kids in the St. Paul public schools need a voice on the Board. They need someone who is willing to fight for them, listen to them and their parents to make our schools truly a place of learning and academic excellence.

  • Our Kids need someone on the Board who will fight for the closing of the achievement gap of our students so they can compete globally.

  • Our Kids need someone on the Board who will fight to raise the graduation rate of all students’ especially African American males so they can all become productive citizens.

  • Our Kids need someone on the Board who will fight for and appreciate teachers that are effectively teaching our students and will support the re-training of those that struggle within the classrooms so that they will do their best to create excellent learners.

  • Our Kids need someone on the Board who will work with all communities and parents to make them feel welcomed and engaged in the educational process so that the home and the neighborhoods can once again become supporters of the educational process.

  • Our Kids need someone on the Board who will strive to make our schools healthy, welcoming places where everyone is vested in the success of those inside.

As a Father of five who has 5 grandchildren currently in the St. Paul Schools, as a Community Person who has fought for kids and created educational programs and organizations to assist Our Kids in succeeding in St. Paul Schools, and as a person who believes that our schools can do better for Our Kids, I want to be that “someone” on the Board who will fight for Our Kids.

But I can’t do it alone. I need your help to fight for Our Kids.
